Chundri Ceremony | Love Conquers All

During the pandemic, there was an inevitable shift in wedding arrangements to accommodate the do’s and don’ts of lock down. However, no matter how strict the guidelines, it has been incredible to witness determined couples still explore ways in creating their stamp of magic for their wedding celebrations. Where there is a will, there is a way, and Shreen and Chand were certainly not deterred to find their unique way. Whilst safety was still paramount, the celebrations for their Chundri ceremony were beautifully arranged at their respective family home. With the weather being on their side (we were amidst our summer heatwave), the sun blissfully shined down on them as their close family and friends showered the couple with love and blessings. It was a pleasure to capture the couple in a more personal and intimate setting as they honoured this wedding festivity. I love adapting my wedding photography style in a way that enhances the quality and detail of the captured moments, no matter how impromptu. It was the small details that became the focal point, and although there were fewer people than normal, the love and joy felt no less. With a chic marque setup in the garden, and the joyous melody of a live band, it no doubt had everyone rise to the belief that love truly does conquer all.

Pre-wedding Shoot | Love & Wilnderness

There is something exceptionally magical about capturing a pre-wedding shoot amidst nature’s serene wilderness. The beautiful Kyoto Garden nestled in Holland Park turned out to be ideal backdrop for the lovely couple, Aneka and Saven as they celebrated their love for one another. With nature and local wildlife working in perfect harmony; the array of peacocks certainly added a special something, it felt effortless to photograph the love and affection between the happy couple. As a wedding photographer, it’s not just about photographing a couple in the perfect light, but also the perfect setting that invites them to feel their most natural and comfortable selves.  It felt like the perfect day to capture the couple in their most real element. With so much zen emanating in Kyoto Garden, I was able to work with ease as I aligned my relaxed photography style with the couple’s style. I look to capture the most personal moments. As the stunning couple took in the beauty of the location, my attention remained focussed on the fine details. I love being able to bring a feeling of authenticity and rawness to the photographs, after all, they are memories to be cherished for a beautiful ever after.

Sandown Racecourse | A Match Made In Heaven

Love matches may indeed be made in heaven but in the modern world they can come to fruition via the charm of online dating. Sareeka and Raju’s wedding is a true testament to this, no matter what the medium, love always finds a way to unite two people who are destined for one another. Their one-of-a-kind romance could be felt throughout the entire wedding celebration from start to finish. Immersed with joy, fun and laughter there was a blissful ambience of happiness that enwrapped family and friends from near and far who had come together to celebrate the beautiful couple’s special day. The auspicious events were kickstarted with a beautiful prayer ceremony, Sukhmani Sahib Paath, where the couple received blessings surrounded by close family. Asian weddings are a vibrant fusion of traditional and modern ceremonies that not only express the culture of both couples but also their unique expression of love for one another. And it’s one of the defining elements that we truly love to capture with authentic style. The beautiful wedding day itself took place at the stunning location of Sandown Racecourse in Esher. With their impressive array of suites, amazing views of the racecourse and London skyline, it was clear to see why Sareeka and Raju chose to have their momentous day here. Every detail of the couple’s dream wedding was meticulously thought out, including their first dance to the epitome’s soundtrack of Dirty Dancing – and yes, their dance lift was also executed to cinematic perfection. From the flawless decorations to the DJ, the couple’s spirit for adventure and fun emanated throughout and was a joy to capture. We felt at ease with the couple from the get-go and effortlessly adapted our expertise to their style and story. Wedding | London Romance

Asian weddings are infused with colour and tradition, elements I certainly like to experiment with as a wedding photographer. I especially loved capturing the bold presence of the beautiful couple Arunpreet and Randeep for their pre-wedding shoot, amidst the London city vibe. The minimalistic backdrop enabled me to capture the stunning couple as the captivating focal point. Their contrasting ensemble of bold purple and blush pink certainly inspired a whole new edge to the shoot. I really love the agility of choosing unique locations for pre-wedding shoots. I find by choosing abstract spots, I can tell a couple’s love story in an exciting and modern light, whilst still keeping it as personal and real to them as possible. Arunpreet and Randeep certainly showed their trust in me by shooting in such a subtle yet chic location. Their couple style was very relaxed and easy to work with which made the whole process feel smooth and effortless. We chose to shoot early morning, so that we could savour the delights of London’s calmness (a rare treat), a mood that undeniably transpired in the finished album. There is no one way to tell a love story, with versatility and craft, I love being able to capture the unique nuance of a couple’s love, something Arunpreet and Randeep epitomised beautifully.

Wedding | Windsor Fairytale

Pre-wedding shoots are certainly special as they hold such an intangible array of energy and emotion. With excitement and anticipation mounting for the big day, I love capturing the vibrant joy that marks the momentous build up. It was an honour to photograph the rising moment for Harpreet and Arron at their pre-wedding shoot located at the enchanting Little Dower House in Windsor. With incredible views of Windsor Castle, there was an undeniable majestic ambience to the couple’s photographed moments. Needless to say, it added that je ne sais quoi factor to what felt like the perfect day to capture the couple’s picture-perfect shots together. The serene and secluded location isolated us from any surrounding hustle and bustle. Instead, the whimsical feel of this stunning location highlighted the couple’s comfort and harmony. As a wedding photographer, I like to make the couple feel as relaxed as possible so that I can capture them as their most natural and authentic selves. And this lovely couple certainly made that feel effortless for me. By understanding the location and its surroundings, I ensure to choose angles that truly compliment the style of the couple. I thrive on being able to capture the chemistry and love between the couple as they await their most special day together.
